Saxdor's figures match on its model page and its 2026 brochure. Saxdor measures draft excluding engines; Nimbus doesn't say how its 0.9 m is measured, so compare the two with care. The T12 is now sold as the Sport Tender 42, and its spec list shows 2 × 400 hp while the same page and the 42-series launch say twin Mercury V10 425 hp can be fitted and quote the weight with 2 × 425 hp. Nimbus gives the T11's weight "incl. 350hk engine", which doesn't match its listed engines.
The deck at anchor
- 400 GTO: the full-beam wheelhouse opens onto side terraces that fold out at anchor. The rear sofa pulls out into a sunbed.
- T12: a folding starboard balcony opens the lounge over the water.
- T11: no balcony; three sofas convert to a lounge or a big sunpad.
Shelter vs open air
- 400 GTO: the most sheltered: a roofed wheelhouse with a push-button sunroof and weather enclosures.
- T12: a longer, wider T-top with solar panels and see-through acrylic sections.
- T11: a T-top over much of the deck and three forward-facing helm seats.
Galley, toys and swimming
- 400 GTO: a cockpit fridge, a stern grill with a sink, and stern storage that converts into a sleeping area.
- T11 and T12: an outdoor galley with a hot-water sink and room for a grill, 70 + 70 + 85 L of fridges and a 2,500 L hydraulic aft locker for paddleboards or seabobs.
- T12: an extended swim platform, hydraulic as an option.
Below deck
- 400 GTO: two cabins and a separate head. Saxdor doesn't publish a berth count.
- T11 and T12: a double in the forward cabin and another in the mid cabin, sleeping four, with a separate head and shower (standing height on the T12). A foredeck hatch loads gear straight into the forward cabin.
Performance
- 400 GTO: twin-stepped 21° V hull, 700 to 850 hp of outboards, approx. 35 to 45 knots and the biggest tank (1,000 L).
- T11: air-lubricated stepped hull, twin 300 hp Verados as standard, 40+ knots and a 20 to 40 knot cruising range. Volvo Penta D4 diesels are an option.
- T12: air-lubricated twin-stepped hull and 45+ knots, with twin V10 425s available.
Ownership and resale
- Draft: all three are published at 0.9 m or less; check the real figure with the engines down.
- Engine hours: compare the hours on each outboard and ask for the service records. Outboards are simple to service but should show similar hours.
- Names: a T12 may be listed as a Sport Tender 42, so search both.
- Resale: Nimbus dates from 1968, Saxdor from 2019, so there's less Saxdor resale history. Condition, engines and service records matter most.
